—which was just as well, because once I’d read Nancy Drew, I preferred George.
And I guess that’s my secret this time around!
I have a lot to share, but little time, so here’s my most recent project, of which I am pretty ding-dang proud!
An interior designer commissioned me to create some prints for a hospital. She wanted it to have a Kentucky-feel, so here’s what I’ve created:

Other projects I’ve been working on include (in chronological order):
That wallpaper/fabric family for a half-bath.
That series of butterflies (I illustrated 13!):
Sketches for a mural, given thumbs up by the park folks, who are asking for a budget(!):
Three pieces on the theme of the color blue for a group show at a public library:
Fake money for the kids’ section of the library where I work.
Bow-Tied Together, for Bourbon with Heart— two pieces on 10x10 bourbon barrel wood with a bow-tie shape incorporated. See videos of the floral one here and the board game one here:
KMAC Couture—a fashion show for which I’m creating a design and using my own pattern (both, um, like, as in sewing stuff together in a pattern and as in the pattern on the fabrics):
And now back to work! This art ain’t gonna art itself!1
