I’m gifted random stuff from amazing friends all over the US (pen-pals, closet-cleaners, thrift-shoppers, etc), which I then box up and offer to mail to anyone in the lower 48. I always forget what’s in the boxes, so there’s some chance mixed in. Then I put out the call:
If you or someone you know2 is fighting a mental health battle (loneliness, depression, anxiety, existential crisis, you name it), it would make me very happy to mail a silly surprise. Just get me a name and address and I’ll head to the post office.
